Had an amazing and fun time with my awesome friend David and grateful to have other factors play an excellent part in my experience here. Those factors included, but not limited to the excellent amenities, tv, and when I’m having issues the pizza parlor got back to me right away and fixed the problem and show that they cared and when we needed washing machine soap and the body wash they were very fast to deliver it. And they’re very friendly and the resort and the restaurant supply their staff was very familiar and smiled a lot. It made me feel like I was welcomed.

Absolutely love it at Orange lake resort. The bungalow is perfect. We have a full kitchen with a washer and dryer. There are lots of things to do and the grounds are immaculate. We stayed for 2 weeks. Check it out and you won't be disappointed you will be coming back time after time. Thanks for the great memories.

First time at this resort and enjoyed it so much we booked another week for a month later. Spent lot of time in the "lazy river" as this was most relaxing. Resort is so big your unit will appear on Google maps. That's helpful when finding your way back to your unit after exploring Kissimmee or Orlando. Very helpful staff and they got us a room like we wanted. Food available at the pool so you can spend hours at the pools. A favorite resort.

I recently stayed at Orange Lake Resort and had an absolutely fantastic experience. From the moment we arrived, the resort felt welcoming, well-maintained, and full of things to do for every age group. While the property itself is huge and beautifully laid out, what made the stay truly memorable were the pools—especially the North Village pool area and, most of all, River Island’s River Run. Combined with our spacious 2-bedroom villa, the trip was everything we hoped for and more. One of the highlights of our stay was spending time in the North Village pool area. Compared to some of the busier sections of the resort, North Village has a more relaxed, laid-back atmosphere. The pool is clean, refreshing, and surrounded by plenty of seating, which made it easy to find a comfortable spot to settle in. Whether we were swimming or just lounging in the sun, it felt like a peaceful retreat within the resort. The vibe was perfect for families or anyone who wants a quieter spot to unwind while still being close to the action. But the real star of the resort—and where we spent most of our time—was River Island, specifically the River Run lazy river. It truly exceeded our expectations. The lazy river is long, beautifully landscaped, and incredibly fun. The water is warm and comfortable, the current is just right (not too slow, not too fast), and the surrounding tropical atmosphere makes you feel like you’re on a true vacation. We went around the river multiple times a day, and honestly, we never got tired of it. There were plenty of tubes available, the water features were fun but not overwhelming, and everything felt clean and well-cared for. River Run alone is enough reason to stay at Orange Lake Resort. Our 2-bedroom accommodations were equally impressive. The villa was spacious—much more than what you typically find at hotels—and provided plenty of room to relax. The living area was large and comfortable, and the full kitchen made it easy to prepare meals when we didn’t feel like going out. Both bedrooms were clean and nicely furnished, and the beds were very comfortable. Having two bathrooms was also a huge plus, especially when everyone was getting ready at the same time. Everything felt updated, well-maintained, and designed for convenience. It honestly felt more like staying in a condo than a typical resort room. What also stood out during our stay was how much there is to do on the property. Even though we primarily focused on the pools, it was great knowing there were multiple activity centers, golf courses, restaurants, and walking paths throughout the resort. The staff members we encountered were friendly, helpful, and always willing to point us in the right direction. Even with the size of the resort, it never felt overwhelming thanks to the clear signage and shuttle availability. Overall, our stay at Orange Lake Resort was outstanding. Between the amazing pools—especially the North Village pool and River Run—and the comfortable and spacious 2-bedroom accommodations, this trip was enjoyable, relaxing, and memorable. It’s the perfect place for families, couples, or anyone wanting a fun and refreshing getaway. We’re already looking forward to returning on our next Orlando vacation.

We have coming to orange lake resort for about 5 years, and we get a 2 bedroom condo. We stay about 3 to 4 weeks, and we like to cook and not go out to eat all the time. So we would like to see more cooking pots and pans, because we have to bring our own.

We're "owners" at OLR and have been visiting regularly since the 90's. The Resort has grown, and there's so many amenities. There's been some growing pains along the way, bur honestly, ic you want to experience more than theme parks in the Orlando-Kissimee area, you can't find a nicer more comfortable place to land. Of course they want you to attend a presentation, ( I politely decline) and there's a few kinks here and there, like no place to get cash on the property, they say they're c cashless, but if you play bingo, its cash and the prizes are cash. The ATMs aren't functional and the Resort staff were not bothered or apologetic about that. It seems t b ey should have a way to offer a small cash option for some cases as they take your cc up front for incidentals. The big stuff, like the grounds, the pools, the roads, are all well maintained Our unit is nice. It was clean with working appliances. Three TVs. Again some small things, like, limited cookware, sliding door difficulties, broken screen slider, etc.... but the staff are responsive for major concerns.

Rooms were decent - a bit outdated. We did need to change the sheets because they were not fully cleaned. The most annoying part was being pressured into taking a tour - we kept declining due to our planned itinerary but after so much pressure we agreed to it. The next day our plans changed and we weren’t able to make the tour and they kept calling early in the morning at 6am every day asking us to reschedule the tour - even though we told them that we were no longer interested & no longer had the time in our planned vacation to schedule a tour. They kept insisting that if we didn’t then would be charged a no show fee of $50 & so we told them to charge the $50 and they still called at 6am each day insisting we go to the tour. I found it a bit obnoxious when we are only there for the week and have limited time to enjoy our stay. Other than that, super safe and fun place to stay. Near Disney World & Universal

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Orange Lake Resort – East Village We’ve been owners here since the 1980s — two timeshares, countless family trips — and this place just keeps getting better. Every visit reminds us why we fell in love with Orange Lake all those years ago. The villas are spacious, clean, and feel like home. Full kitchens, big living spaces, and those peaceful balconies overlooking the greens — perfect for morning coffee or an evening glass of wine. The East Village has that relaxed, tucked-away vibe, but everything is still close by. Between the pools, mini-golf, and easy access to River Island and its lazy river, there’s never a shortage of things to do. The family loves the activities, and we love that there’s truly something for every generation. The staff? They’ve always treated us like family. From the front desk to the gate attendants, everyone goes out of their way to make sure we’re taken care of. What’s amazing is how this resort has grown with the times — always adding new amenities and keeping the property fresh — but it’s still the same place that’s been part of our family memories for decades. Bottom line: Orange Lake Resort East Village isn’t just a vacation spot for us — it’s home. If you’re looking for a place that blends comfort, fun, and that warm “welcome back” feeling, you can’t beat this resort.
